I had been hired on at Bethesda only about a year and a half before, with zero experience in making games, and by the time Arena came out, it was the third game I had released. But afterward, the game became a single player Role-playing game in which the player did not have a team. Primarily, in Elder Scroll- Arena the player needed to prepare his party of soldiers and combat with the other parties in different landscapes in Tamriel. Along with this, the player can go on exploration in the towns and go on some provincial adventures. The player can delve anywhere into Nirn and investigate huge caves. The player needs to escape from the cave and murder Jagger Tharn to set the king free. Jagar Tharn imprisons the king using the staff of discord and locks the player inside a cave. Ureil Septim indulges himself in a fight with Jagar Tharn so that he can unite the whole world of Nirn. The plot of Elder Scrolls – Arena is set in the world of Nirn in the dominion of Tamriel who is ruled by Ureil Septim.
